Warranty and After Sales Marina Systems

Our products are built to the highest standards of quality and performance, and our warranty policy is a statement of trust.

MARINA SYSTEMS SRL provides a guarantee on its MARINA products against defects in material and workmanship. Our products are guaranteed for defective components or manufacturing.

The warranty covers all components and labor performed on your machine covered by this policy. This is subject to the repair being carried out by an authorized MARINA SYSTEMS service center.

The delivery and collection of the product are at the owner’s expense and are not covered by this policy. 

Duration of the guarantee

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase by the final consumer.

The duration of the warranty is that in force at the time of purchase and published in the documentation Marina and on our websites. 
The warranty is subject to proper use of the product and regular maintenance according to the recommended intervals.

For commercially used products (i.e., for hire or use by contractors, municipalities, campsites, water authorities, or any other similar use where the machine is used for economic gain or instrumental to use in properties used for economic gain) the warranty period will be 1 year, unless otherwise stated.

If a product is replaced under warranty, the warranty period will remain in effect from the original date of purchase.

Exclusions

The MARINA warranty does NOT cover the following: 

• Wear items such as wheels, belts and blades...
• Second hand products.
• Defects which, in the opinion of MARINA, are somehow or to some extent attributable to:

or normal wear and tear;

or misuse/ accidental damage;

or failure to comply with the instructions for use and operation indicated in the instructions for use

or lack of care;

or assembly of extra parts, spares or components that have not been supplied or approved by MARINA;

or contaminated/stale fuel.

• Periodic maintenance services required by the operator’s manual or replacement of wear and tear components, including oil, filters, batteries, brake linings, grass-picking cloth bags, fuses and other parts, unless it can be demonstrated that the object has a manifest defect in manufacture. These items may be damaged due to normal wear and tear or lack of maintenance.
• Products modified by the user
• Products repaired or tentatively repaired by the user.
  The only ones that can provide for the warranty repair of MARINA SYSTEMS SRL products are the MARINA SYSTEMS SRL Service Centers.
• IMPORTANT: The warranty on engines applied to MARINA SYSTEMS SRL products is provided by the official service circuit of the engine manufacturer.

Product registration

Your new purchase must be registered with MARINA SYSTEMS SRL using the warranty certificate provided with the machine or by creating an account on the site MARINASYSTEMS.IT and registering your new online purchase on https://marinasystems.it/garantizie  . 
To validate the warranty in case of repair, you must show the original proof of purchase to the dealer, unless you have registered the product on https://marinasystems.it and uploaded the proof of purchase.
Without the original proof of purchase, the warranty will not be applied.

Service/ 2-year warranty MARINA

The eligible MARINA SYSTEMS lawnmowers are covered by a conditional warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase in case of use on national territory. This warranty is non-transferable.

To maintain the warranty, the appliance must be serviced at a MARINA service centre.

If the machine is used under certain conditions, additional servicing or maintenance will be required as recommended in the user manual.

These conditions include, but are not limited to:

• humidity
• Dry environmental conditions and exposure to dust
• high temperatures
• daily use of the machine.

Spare parts

The purchase of spare parts is excluded from this warranty. MARINA SYSTEMS SRL may replace at its discretion, in exceptional cases, a piece considered defective after assembly by an authorized dealer.

Exclusion of warranty

The warranty is valid only for defects of MARINA SYSTEMS SRL products.

No person is authorized to provide warranties, statements or promises, express or implied, on behalf of MARINA SYSTEMS SRL nor to modify in any way the terms, conditions or limitations of this warranty.

No user is authorized to carry out any maintenance operation on MARINA SYSTEMS SRL products independently, under penalty of loss of any warranty, without prior written authorization from MARINA SYSTEMS SRL.

MARINA SYSTEMS SRL is not liable in any case for damages caused by failure to comply with the regular and scheduled maintenance deadlines if and as specified in the owner’s manual.

MARINA SYSTEMS SRL is not responsible in any case for damages resulting from maintenance or repairs not in accordance with the procedures of MARINA SYSTEMS SRL.

MARINA SYSTEMS SRL is not liable in any case for any damage caused by the use of non-original spare parts and accessories or by lubricants, liquids and fuels not included among those specified; In addition, damage caused by operating modes other than those described in the owner’s manual.

MARINA SYSTEMS SRL is not liable in any case for special, incidental or consequential damages, if these are due to improper or incorrect use of the products.

MARINA SYSTEMS SRL has the obligation to repair or replace defective products that meet the above conditions. The choice between repair or replacement is at the complete discretion of MARINA SYSTEMS SRL.

The MARINA SYSTEMS SRL warranty is provided in addition to your legal rights.

Special products

Some products enjoy a more extended warranty such as the PROMAX line that has 3 years warranty even for the professional.
